Descendants of the Hodge Family Second Generation 2. Henry HODGE Scrapbook (William ) was born in 1834/1835 in Tavistock, Devonshire, Cornwall.U.K. He died on 14 AUG 1903. [Notes] Henry married (2) Elizabeth Ann WOOLRIDGE nee HEARD, (Scrapbook)  daughter of Jacob HEARD on 27 APR 1861 in Liskeard. Elizabeth was born on 28 FEB 1839. She died on 10 NOV 1920 in Taranaki, New Zealand. Elizabeth had previously married  John Woolridge, presumably in 1858 and there was one daughter of the marriage - Anna Jane, though her Birth Certificate has her as Hannah Jane born 13 January 1859, at Luccombe, Lawhitton. [Notes] Henry and Elizabeth had the following children: + 3 M i Richard Henry HODGE was born on 12 FEB 1862 and died in 1895.(notes) + 4 F ii Kate HODGE  Scrapbook was born on 21 JUN 1863 and died in 1941. + 5 M iii John (Jack) HODGE Scrapbook was born on 14 JUN 1868 and died 1921 (age 53). + 6 M iv William Thomas HODGE Scrapbook was born in 1869. + 7 M v Harry HODGE Scrapbook was born in 1873/1875 and died in 1947. + 8 M vi James Ephraim (Jim) HODGE was born in 1874 and died 1958?. + 9 F vii Alice HODGE was born in 1876 and died in 1960. 10 M viii Charles HODGE Scrapbook was born ?.3.1880. He died in 1948 in Patea and was buried in Patea Returned Services Cemetery.[Notes] + 11 M ix Samuel Ernest HODGE Scrapbook was born in 1881 and died in 1943. Henry also married (1) Jane WALLACE 1852? in Lifton Downs. Jane died in 1860.
